VNA Care is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to home and community-based health care. Established in 1886 under the auspices of the Women’s Education Association (WEA) and known as the Instructive District Nursing Association (IDNA), the IDNA was the first organized home health care provider in the country.
Today, VNA Care is the parent organization of several companies whose staff provides and coordinates the care of thousands of patients throughout Eastern and Central Massachusetts.

VNA Care Network: a certified home health agency that provides skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapies and other professional services, as well as certified home health aide services.
VNA of Boston: a certified home health agency that provides skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapies and other professional services, as well as certified home health aide services.
VNA Hospice & Palliative Care: a Medicare-certified agency that provides palliative and end of life care to patients and their families.
VNA Care Advantage: division of VNA Care that provides supportive and private duty care services throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts.
VNA First Choice: staffing agency that provides short or long-term clinicians to supplement existing staff.
