THE MINNESOTA BLACK FELLOWS EXPERIENCE

MANAGEMENT FOCUS

Fellows meet virtually in monthly sessions from February-December. Fellows are armed with strategies to excel as they oversee and grow their own teams, while remaining influential and accountable to their leadership. Our programs also engage Fellows’ managers directly. Leading program faculty have developed sessions designed specifically to support the success of managers of participants.

COHORT LEARNING

Fellows are grouped in cohorts of 6-8 participants for enhanced engagement, peer feedback, and application of their learning. Additionally, Fellows are invited to in-person convenings with regional business leaders to expand their professional network. We provide space for Fellows to connect and cultivate personal and collegial relationships that long outlast programming.

EXECUTIVE COACHING

Fellows receive both individual and cohort executive coaching to apply their learning. Participants engage in concentrated analysis and real-world problem solving with an assigned executive coach and cohort of cross-industry peers.

“Living in Minnesota, most often, we are the “onlys” in the room. Through The Partnership’s Leadership Development Program, I have had the opportunity to be in a room with leaders of color from different industries and walks of life. This experience is unparalleled and empowering. My participation has enabled me to focus on developing critical business, leadership, and personal skills that I would not have gained otherwise. It is an honor and a privilege to have been hand-picked and sponsored by my leadership team to be part of The Partnership’s first cohort in Minnesota.”
