Engaging professionals of color in core business strategies.
The Fellows Program offers a groundbreaking curriculum tailored to address the experience of ambitious professionals of color as they move into management roles, and to equip them with the tools needed to lead effectively while still being managed.
Registration for the Class of 2024 is open now through February 2, 2024.
The Fellows curriculum is most suitable for professionals and managers of color with 7-10 years of experience. The program is recognized for its ability to consistently pave pathways from management to leadership-level roles for high potential professionals. Admission is limited to the nation’s most promising professionals of color from all industries, as selected by their supervisors.
THE FELLOWS EXPERIENCE.
Each class meets virtually in monthly sessions from February-December (except August) that incorporate core leadership topics with a strong emphasis on real world application. Participants leave the program armed with strategies to excel as they oversee and grow their own team, while remaining influential and accountable to the leadership tier.
Between sessions, Fellows are grouped in cohorts of 8-10 participants for enhanced engagement, peer feedback, and application of their learning. We use remote tools such as Slack for cohorts to connect and cultivate personal and collegial relationships that long outlast programming.
Our programs feature the unique element of reaching beyond the class of Fellows to engage their managers directly. Leading program faculty have developed sessions designed specifically to support the success of managers of participants. During these sessions, managers consider how to connect Fellows with core business strategies and how to effectively lead and expand diverse teams.

Of alumni say The Partnership has strengthened their professional networks.
“I was amazed at The Partnership’s ability to pivot to a virtual format so quickly. The sessions I go back to over and over again are Alicia Latson’s and Judy Shen-Filerman’s. I use their work around articulating the value I bring to the organization in conversations about my team and my own development. I’ve also coached my team to think along these lines and market themselves more effectively. I have been promoted since finishing The Fellows program and I can absolutely point to thoughts that were formed in my head during my time with The Partnership that helped me to secure my new role.”
