What is NGE? NGE is a six-month executive development program for corporate America’s most promising multicultural professionals of color. Based on a unique executive competency model, NGE has three distinct components(more):
• Immersion Experience. NGE kicks-off with a one-week residency that introduces participants to its competency model with both formal coursework and 1:1 executive coaching. Generously underwritten by Liberty Mutual with executive coaching underwritten by Fidelity Investments.
• Action Learning Teams. NGE participants receive five months of on-going support as they problem-solve their way through applying the competency model. Generously underwritten by National Grid.
• Capstone Retreat. NGE concludes with a two-day retreat at which each participant creates her or his own road map to becoming a senior executive. Generously underwritten by Comcast.
What’s the model? NGE’s executive model is based on the five competencies necessary to move through the executive ranks, including cross-functional leadership, interpersonal connections, leadership communication, self-management and critical thinking. (more)

Who’s eligible? NGE is open to multicultural professionals of color from all backgrounds, including Asian, Black, Latino, Native American and South Asian. Eligible applicants should have a minimum of 15 years professional experience and be seen as having executive potential.

• October 4-8, 2010: Immersion Experience (Cape Cod, MA)
• October, 2010 - March, 2011: Learning Incubator (via teleconference)
• March, 2011: Capstone Retreat (Location TBD)
