  	        <content:encoded><![CDATA[Carmen Van Kerckhove is co-founder and president of New Demographic, a consulting firm that helps organizations overcome diversity fatigue by facilitating relaxed, authentic and productive conversations about race and racism. She hosts the Podcast &quot;Addicted to Race&quot; and blogs at Racialicious, Anti-Racist Parent, and Race in the Workplace. Carmen's perspective on race and racism have been featured in Newsweek, USA Today, The New York times, MSNBC Live, and NPR's News &amp; Notes, Washington Post Radio, American public Media&rsquo;s Marketplace,PBS&rsquo;s Asian America, KQED&rsquo;s Pacific Time, and WBAI&rsquo;s The Jordan Journal and Asia Pacific Forum.

Van Kerckhove contributes advice columns to the Diversity Q&amp;A portion of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM)web site. The Science Museum of Minnesota featured her as part of it&rsquo;s exhibit &ldquo;Race: Are We So Different?,&rdquo; created by the American Anthropological Association. She was the keynote speaker at the 10th Annual National Student Conference on the Mixed Race Experience and the 1st Annual New York City Asian American Student Conference.

Carmen graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Political Science. She is based in New York City.
